Think about this.
1. Humidifiers are necessary in dry climates.
2. For individual guitars – damp-it; try using old film containers.
3. In a room, you might get away with a jug of water.
4. Most importantly, avoid leaving your guitar(s) in the sun or in a hot car. Also, when you bring the guitar from cold to hot, you risk damaging to the finish. Wood cracks can be fixed by a repairman, but may not need to be an urgent repair.
